Gaming Halloween Costumes for the Ladies

Published by jskelton at 4:04 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

Halloween’s just a few weeks away, and it’s time for those of us girls who don’t have a horde of costumes in the closets for various cosplay conventions to start shopping. The options are limited for women when it comes to gaming costumes, and your best bet is to make your own costume if you have the time. But if you don’t - which is more likely - there are a few options available on the Internet.

For WoW fans, Blizzard recently made its new official Halloween costumes a headliner. Unfortunately, of the eight options, only one is feminine: the Night Elf prosthetic latex kit , which includes ears and makeup to dress you up like the next fresh-from-Darnassus eye candy.  If that’s not your cup of tea (it’s certainly not mine), you can always go for unofficial costumes. Is your main a priest? Then take a look at the tier 5 priest costume by Fan-Store.net , made to order for just $100. Or commission your own four-piece costume.

Online gaming not your thing? Moon Costumes has a great selection of costumes for many games. Final Fantasy costumes include characters such as Yuna, Tifa, Rikku, Lulu, Rinoa, and Aerith. They also have great costumes for Kingdom Hearts, Street Fighter, and other characters such as Resident Evil 4’s Ada Wong and Princess Zelda.

Or you can always stay at home and mash buttons, yelling to the kids at your door, “Hang on, let me find a save point!”

I hate Halloween shopping…only a costume party this year forced me to do so but I used Sortprice and it was easy. And dare I say…a little fun?
