Adventures of Rhapsody p. I
I’m sure I’ve mentioned before my deep love for the Nintendo DS. Part of that love is the ability to really be able to play games again; I stopped console gaming years ago because of a lack of time (and ability to use a TV for my own), and have been struggling slowly to get back into since. Thankfully, I don’t have to share the Nintendo DS with anyone. So when Gamefly delivered a few games this week, I was excited.
Since it was delivered first, Rhapsody ~A Musical Adventure~ was my first choice for play. Sure enough, it was quick to remind me how absolutely strange RPGs can be when they start. Rhapsody throws you right in there: here’s a girl, who wants to marry a Prince, and she talks to puppets.
Yep, puppets. They can talk. They have souls. And they can fight along side you against toads and wyrmlings.
Well, it’s a girly RPG, but it’s been fun so far, full of giggles. Too bad the post-game levels aren’t there.
