Start the New Year with Jack Thompson

Published by jskelton under gaming news Edit This

It just wouldn’t be a new year for gamers if Jack Thompson wasn’t involved! So we go to the secret world of Take-Two Interactive, where stocks have been suffering lately. So, who’s at fault - Take-Two chairman Strauss Zelnick?

Nope. God.

Game Politics took a look into Thompson’s mindset on the recent turn of events for Take-Two via an email interview. In the interview, Thompson suggested that God’s vengeance was being seen out Take-Two (while his own disbarring was a form of persecution.) Thompson had this to say:

I have been persecuted for my faith, not because I did anything wrong, by those committed to evil.  Glad to clear it up for you.  And as it now stands, Mr. Zelnick’s problems at Take-Two are minuscule [sic] compared to the eternity of punishment that is coming his way unless he repents and accepts Christ as I did 32 years ago this month.  You might do well to read the Gospel of John yourself.  Come to think of it, I’ll write Strauss about all this and send you a copy…

Bravo, Thompson, for making Christians look bad and bringing a mass of logical fallacies into a company’s stock slide. What ever happened to “Judge lest not ye be judged?” Ah well. Keep up the rhetoric, Mr. Thompson. You continue to amuse us.
