CES 2009: New Logitech G-Series revealed
The Consumer Electronics Show of 2009 has kicked off with a gadget parade. There’s a lot of interesting, delicious things:
- The JVC Super Thin LCD TV
- A Super Mini OLED Display
- The THX Roomcaster
- The VIZIO Soundbars and Blu-Ray players
- Flightsticks from Saitek and Mad Catz
- VR Sunglasses
- Psyko 5.1 Gaming Headphones
But what I want to bring your attention to is none of these things. No, I want to show you the new G-series from Logitech. Let me introduce to you:
The G19 Keyboard,

The G35 Surround Sound Headset,

And the G9x laser mouse.

Gorgeous, aren’t they? Now, I’ve always admired the G-series, but never thought it’d bring enough to my gaming to bother paying for it. This though, this is heaven. Especially the headset, which has great noise-reduction technology built in, on-ear controls, and swappable headbands. The mouse has snap-on adjustable grips. The G-keys on the keyboard allow for 36 customizable macros. Do you see where I’m going with this?
The set will hit in March and April this year, with an expected total MSRP of $430 for the full set. I may not get the keyboard, or even the mouse, but damn it all those headphones will be mine.
