Good RPG News comes in 3s!
In the shadows of CES 2009, three great announcements about three top-notch RPGs were made yesterday.
Final Fantasy XIII: Fabula Nova Crystal Portal Site Opened
The official Final Fantasy XIII site acts as a portal for all three games of Final Fantasy XIII. There isn’t much up right now, just some screen shots and pretty things to look at. FFXIII is going to use a remodeled version of the Active Time Battle system, as well as a summoning system, and hosts a promising storyline. The game is anticipated for a late 2009 release.
Star Ocean: The Last Hope
Star Ocean: The Last Hope has been bumped up 8 days on its release; from March 4th to February 24th. This means American audiences only have to wait five days after the Japanese release. Star Ocean: The Last Hope will be for the X-Box 360.
Phantasy Star Zero coming across the ocean
Phantasy Star Zero, a game for the Nintendo DS, has been announced to make a United States release in Winter 2009. Just released on Christmas in Japan, the game boasts two new classes, and over 350 weapon choices, as well as online or offline play.
