Late Night Time Wasters, Volume VI
It’s been a little while, so it’s time to scour the web for a few more late night time wasters to help while away the hours into the dark recesses of the night.

Music Catch 2
Now, I know somewhere along the line, I played Music Catch, even if I didn’t blog about it. It’s a simple, and relaxing game - catch the notes as they appear. You get bonuses for each yellow note you catch, each red note knocks off some of your bonus, and purple notes give power ups that allow you to collect more notes and points. It’s visually easy on the eyes, and comes with nice piano music to boot.
Music Catch 2, however, is improved in that it not only has more patterns and symbols, but you can (once you unlock the last stage) use any MP3 from a URL to play. If you look closely, you’ll notice I was playing to Otherworld from Final Fantasy X. Safety Dance is also a great one to play to.

Ninja Ropes Extreme
Alright, two things I have to admit about this game: 1) It’s an iPhone application, and 2) I’m not very good at it. But if you remember the last volume of Late Night Time Wasters, I promoted a very similar game called There’s Two Wires. It’s the same concept, but for the iPhone. Differences? Gravity fields, and a smaller playing field. Plus this time, it features a ninja.

Died Hard
A zombie killing, top down 2D shooter. I admit it. This game is tricky, and takes a lot of getting used to. I think the name means “You’ll die, lots, because this game is hard,” but that’s because it doesn’t have a very gradual learning curve. That screen cap? Yeah, that’s level four. Level one wasn’t much better. Good luck.
Well folks, have fun gaming. And remember: keep the speakers down or the headphones on, so you don’t wake up the sleeping members of your family.
